Are you an Occupational Therapist who’s passionate about helping people learn skills to enrich their life, while feeling equally supported in your own growth and wellbeing?

We're always looking for enthusiastic OTs who are eager to contribute to meaningful outcomes, deliver goal-orientated therapy and grow alongside a supportive team. New graduate and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply.

About Us

Learn for Life Occupational Therapy Services is a client-centred private practice based in Torrensville, SA (5031). We provide both clinic and community-based services across Metropolitan Adelaide, working with children, adolescents and adults to empower them to build meaningful, functional skills for everyday life. Our welcoming office space is co-located with a Speech Pathology service, enabling opportunities for interdisciplinary learning and holistic intervention approaches.

The Role

In this role, you will:

  • Work with a mixed caseload of predominantly paediatric clients, presenting with a range of disabilities and occupational performance issues.
  • Provide holistic, goal-oriented, evidence-based intervention and assessment.
  • Engage with families, educators, and support networks to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Enjoy flexibility in how your week is structured and be part of a practice that values work-life balance.

The Benefits

At Learn for Life, we’re dedicated to helping you feel confident, supported, and genuinely enjoy your work. We know that when you’re well-resourced and well-supported, you can do your best for your clients - so here’s how we make that happen:

Receive thorough onboarding with training in client software, shadowing sessions, and handovers to help you feel prepared and supported from day one.
  • Gradually built caseloads
We’ll help you ease into the role with a paced approach so you can grow your confidence and skills comfortably.
  • Professional development support
Access $1,500 annually (for 1.0 FTE) to pursue external PD, plus regular internal training to continue learning and evolving.
  • All the tools you need
Enjoy your own desk space, iPad, a personal therapy resource pack, and access to our well-stocked shared resource library.
  • Client-free Friday afternoons
Carve out time for planning, admin, and team bonding.
  • Supportive supervision structure
Benefit from regular 1:1 supervision and peer supervision groups, to reflect and grow with your team.
  • Travel reimbursements
Get compensated for time and distance when using your car to see mobile clients.
  • A connected & friendly team culture
We keep things relaxed, team-oriented and fun, with regular catch-ups and team-building events.
  • Collaborative environment
Work closely with our on-site speech pathologists for a more integrated, holistic therapy approach.
