Our Team

Our dedicated team of Occupational Therapists each bring their own unique skills and passions to their work, equipped to support individuals across a range of developmental stages and needs.

Brie

Clinical Lead & Occupational Therapist

Brie is an Occupational Therapist and Clinical Leader at Learn for Life, with a genuine passion for helping people build independence in the activities that shape their everyday lives — from self-care and household tasks to social participation and play skills.

Having worked across both nonprofit and private practice settings, Brie has supported individuals of all ages living with physical and neurodevelopmental conditions. She has a particular interest in executive functioning and emotional regulation, recognising how deeply these areas influence a person’s confidence and capacity to engage in daily life.

Brie is a strong advocate for her clients, supporting them through capacity-building, equipment prescription, home modification assessments, and Functional Capacity Assessments, with a thorough understanding of the NDIS to guide the process. In her leadership role, she also mentors and supervises fellow therapists, bringing the same care to her team as she does to her clients.

Seeing people grow in confidence and capability is what Brie finds most meaningful about her work. She believes that with the right support, every person has the capacity to live with greater independence and connection.

Jasmine

Senior Occupational Therapist

Jasmine is a senior Occupational Therapist specialising in ADHD, executive functioning, PDA, and emotional and sensory regulation. Alongside her clinical work, she supervises fellow therapists, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within her team.

Jasmine works with children from early intervention through primary school age, taking a child-led, neuro-affirming approach that prioritises safety, regulation, and genuine connection. She brings creativity to every session, drawing on individual interests and sensory-rich experiences to ensure therapy remains meaningful in everyday life.

For Jasmine, the heart of great therapy is a strong therapeutic relationship, where both the child and their family feel respected and supported. Working with children means no two days are the same; every session brings new smiles, new challenges, and new lessons from the children and families she works with. She is driven by those moments when a child develops confidence, self-awareness, and the ability to advocate for their own needs.

Outside of work, Jasmine recharges through walking, cooking, Pilates, and painting — a reminder that wellbeing matters for everyone.

Lily

Occupational Therapist

Lily is an Occupational Therapist known for her warm and patient approach. She has experience across both nonprofit and private practice settings and enjoys working with a varied caseload. Alongside her clinical work, she provides supervision to other therapists and contributes to a collaborative, supportive team culture.

Lily has a strong interest in emotional regulation, sensory processing, and foundational developmental skills such as fine motor development, daily living skills, and independence with routines. Lily is drawn to these areas for the meaningful impact they have on a child’s confidence, participation, and overall wellbeing.

Lily’s approach is client and family-centred and strengths-based, placing great importance on building trusting relationships where children feel comfortable to grow at their own pace.

Seeing growth over time, no matter how big or small, is what keeps Lily motivated. She finds deep reward in those moments when a child achieves something they have been working towards, or when families notice positive changes at home.

Chiara

Occupational Therapist

Chiara is an energetic and caring Occupational Therapist who works with young children, teenagers and young adults. She has a special interest in interoception, helping clients tune into their body’s signals to better understand their feelings and needs. She is also passionate about building self-esteem and growth mindset, believing that confidence and a positive sense of self are deeply tied to mental health and wellbeing.

Chiara takes the time to build genuine relationships with clients and their families, making sure everyone feels comfortable and involved. She collaborates with clients to shape their own goals and weaves their interests into sessions to keep therapy enjoyable, purposeful and led by them. She also loves supporting clients to build independence in practical everyday skills like getting dressed, staying organised, and managing daily routines, making a real difference at home, school, and in the community.

She believes every person deserves to feel heard, supported, and confident in who they are. Her favourite moments are hearing clients talk proudly about themselves and seeing families feel more equipped to support their child.

Joe

Occupational Therapist

Joe is an Occupational Therapist with broad community-based experience, bringing a thoughtful approach to every client he works with. He has a particular interest in sensory processing and emotional regulation, recognising how deeply these areas can shape a person’s day-to-day life and sense of wellbeing.

Joe is a strong believer in neuro-affirming practice, an approach that respects neurological differences rather than seeking to change them. Central to his work is fostering self-advocacy, empowering clients to understand their own needs and feel confident in expressing them.

He places great importance on building genuine rapport, taking the time to get to know each person and incorporating their individual interests and passions into sessions to make therapy engaging, meaningful, and effective.

Joanna

Occupational Therapist

Joanna is an Occupational Therapist with a passion for supporting children and adolescents in their social-emotional development, sensory processing, and functional daily tasks. She understands how deeply these areas shape a young person’s ability to participate at school, at home, and in their relationships.

With a particular interest in early intervention and young teenagers, Joanna brings a play-based, functional, and holistic approach to her practice. She creates a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood, drawing on each child’s strengths and interests to make therapy meaningful, creative, and directly transferable to real life.

Those lightbulb moments — when a child begins to understand their emotions or successfully uses a strategy in a real situation — are what Joanna finds most rewarding. She believes all children can thrive when their strengths are recognised and they are supported with the right tools and environments to meet their needs.

Jemima

Occupational Therapist

Jemima is a bubbly Occupational Therapist with a strong passion for paediatric practice, bringing a child-centred and neurodiversity-affirming approach to everything she does. She has a particular interest in sensory processing, understanding how each child experiences the world through their senses and using that knowledge to support regulation, confidence, and participation in everyday life.

Jemima is drawn to the early childhood and primary school years, recognising this as a time when the right support can make a truly meaningful difference. She works closely with families, valuing their insight, and focusing on practical strategies that fit naturally into daily routines.

She incorporates each child’s interests and preferred sensory experiences into sessions, making therapy both enjoyable and purposeful. Seeing children grow in regulation and confidence, and families feel equipped and empowered, is what Jemima finds most rewarding. She believes therapy is most meaningful when it is tailored, achievable, and rooted in a genuine understanding of each child’s unique needs.
