Joanna
Occupational Therapist
AHPRA: OCC0004054227
Joanna is an Occupational Therapist with a passion for supporting children and adolescents in their social-emotional development, sensory processing, and functional daily tasks. She understands how deeply these areas shape a young person’s ability to participate at school, at home, and in their relationships.
With a particular interest in early intervention and young teenagers, Joanna brings a play-based, functional, and holistic approach to her practice. She creates a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood, drawing on each child’s strengths and interests to make therapy meaningful, creative, and directly transferable to real life.
Those lightbulb moments — when a child begins to understand their emotions or successfully uses a strategy in a real situation — are what Joanna finds most rewarding. She believes all children can thrive when their strengths are recognised and they are supported with the right tools and environments to meet their needs.
