Occupational Therapy Just Minutes Away

Our purpose-built clinic is at 1/148 Henley Beach Road, Torrensville, only a few minutes from Lockleys along the same road, and Lockleys sits comfortably inside our regular 30-minute community service radius. That makes reaching us straightforward, with dedicated therapy spaces and equipment ready when you arrive.

If getting to the clinic does not suit, we can come to you. Community-based sessions let therapy happen where your child already learns, plays and grows, so new skills are practised in the settings that matter. You can see our home base on the Torrensville clinic page.

Sessions That Fit Around Your Family

Therapy looks different for every child, and where it happens can shape how well it works. We offer flexible delivery so support fits into your week rather than adding to the load:

Your therapist will help you choose the setting that best supports your child’s goals, and this can shift over time as those goals grow.

How We Support Lockleys Children and Teens

Whatever brings you here, our occupational therapists start with the person in front of us, not a label. We look at what daily life is actually asking of your child, where things feel smooth, where they feel effortful, and what would make the biggest difference. The areas we most often support include:

Sensory processing and helping a nervous system feel more settled and ready

Fine motor skills for the small, precise tasks a day is full of

Handwriting support that looks underneath the pencil to what a child needs

Emotional regulation and building a toolkit for big feelings

Executive functioning, daily living skills, school readiness and building independence

We are a neurodiversity-affirming practice, which means we understand neurodivergence as a different way of processing the world rather than something to be corrected. You can explore the full range of needs we work with on our conditions we support page.

Support Across
Childhood and Into Adulthood

Learn for Life supports people across a wide span of ages and needs, and we meet each person where they are.

What Reaching Out Looks Like

You do not need to have everything figured out before you get in touch. Many families come to us during that in-between time, when they are still gathering information and wondering what it all means. Occupational therapy starts with what daily life is asking of your child, not with a diagnosis.

If understanding your child’s strengths and needs first would help, an assessment can be a useful starting point. You can read about the options on our occupational therapy assessments page.
